Scallop Dive
Becky and Dave surface from today’s Scallop Dive
It might be cold but any dive with the same amount of ascents as descents is a good dive and if you can collect a few scallops for dinner at the same time, what more can you ask for.
We’ve just arrived back from our first scallop dive for the season and although this is the coldest time of the year and it was raining cats and dogs when we started the first dive, the sun was shining when we surfaced and to add to the pleasure of diving on a wreck, collecting scallops for tea, we were treated to a swim by from a big pod of Bottlenose dolphins. Sure beats sitting in the office or in front of the TV.
If your in the market for some new kit, then keep an eye open for a blog adverting some super cheap equipment deals towards the end of this week. Also our new club page is now up and running so go to www.godive.co.nz click on The Dive Club Marlborough link and see how you can join this active dive club.
